I realise I have been a terrible blogger lately, my excuse is quite ordinary-I have been busy!
However….yes I have been busy which accounts for my lack of posts but also, that lately it’s felt I have less to say. I go to Australia today and it is the best thing that could happen to me at the moment. I need to recharge my batteries, seek inspiration; I need to get back to the bare bones of photography…and myself! Christmas for most people and businesses is an incredibly stressful time, suddenly the art of photography gets lost amongst order forms and deadlines. I am very fortunate to work for myself and to be able to have these long holidays; this break feels more needed than others. I have a pile of business books, but more important than that I have my notebook…and glue and scissors. I will write what I see/find, I will make notes and store images that inspire.
2007 was for me the best and worst year of my life. For a hundred personal reasons that won’t ever get written here-namely because I wouldn’t want to bore you! I am glad to have a great start to 2008; I know that next year will be very different to this one.
So I am signing off for a few weeks but will be contactable via e mail. I will try and post where I can but know we will be on the road for a few weeks and internet may be hit and miss. I can tell you that when I return I will be better….! The new website will go live which includes a custom made blog. I can’t wait to launch the new site and share with you other exciting projects that will make 2008 (hopefully) very exciting! Thank you to everyone for your continued support, your e-mails and notes do literally make my day! I cant wait to work with some amazing couples next year, I have some amazing weddings lined up.
